Vorau is located in the north-east
of Steiermark (Styria), the so-called
"green heart" of Austria. It has a
population about 1500 and is
surrounded by beautiful scenery
with mountains (up to 1700m), alps,
and forests. Vorau is famous for
the 12th century Abbey of Vorau.
The conference site is the "Education
Center" of this Abbey.
